Anneke is an experienced employment lawyer with an incisive solution-oriented approach and a penchant for latte macchiatos with oat milk.
“I am an experienced all-round specialist in employment law and advise and/or litigate in particular on dismissal cases, individual and collective dismissal, incapacity for work, collective bargaining law, privacy and transfer of undertaking. As a thorough and creative negotiator, I try to solve disputes out of court first. However, if necessary I like to litigate and go to great lengths to promote the interests of clients, clients get my full attention and I look beyond the legal issue.
After twelve years of working in the advocacy, I deliberately made the switch to Halsten in the role of legal counsel. It is an added value that as legal counsel you are involved in cases at an earlier stage, so you can think along with clients at a strategic level and be a good sparring partner. The retail practice fascinates me enormously. This branch is constantly changing and many collective labor agreements and industry pension funds apply, which gives my work an extra challenge.
Besides my work as an employment lawyer, I am also a specialized stress/(pre-)burn-out coach. Through various trainings, including the NLP coach training, I have improved my ability to recognize, expose and resolve the mental and emotional aspects of a conflict. A sustainable result is paramount and I involve more than just the legal interests. In my work, I aim for a good, long-term relationship with clients and colleagues. Just like Halsten.”
